 The
Oncology Care Support program is a free program for all BCBS-FL
members and is designed to support individuals who have been
diagnosed with cancer regardless of the type or stage of cancer
or the proposed plan of treatment. The Oncology Care Support
Program provides physical and psychosocial support to members
through increased knowledge about their disease state, stages of
their illness, decision making related to treatment options and
management of side effects.

Instructions:
Select Option #4 (BCBSFL) for complex care support then option
3. Members will be prompted to answer five questions on the Care
Coordination voice mailbox and a Care Coordinator will return
the member's call. Additionally, an inpatient hospital stay
will trigger a call from a Care Coordinator to member recently
diagnosed with cancer or readmitted to the hospital.
